Lifting the Silence
Edmonton’s Annual Suicide Awareness March
Every year, approximately one million people die by suicide around the world. This means nearly one life is lost to suicide every 40 seconds. Suicide is the leading cause of death worldwide.
The Support Network invites you to join us inraising awareness for suicide prevention and honouring the lives lost to suicide.
Event Details:
- Once again, this year’s Suicide Awareness March will take place in the heart of downtown Edmonton. The event will begin with a brief ceremony in City Hall.
